Muncy's Plat Pronto v.4.0 Features
Plat Pronto was written by a Professional Land Surveyor/Civil Engineer

Plat Pronto Basic

With Plat Pronto Basic you can:

  • produce a professional quality plat quickly and easily including a default border, title block, north arrow, and scale bar.

  • analyze deed descriptions, legal descriptions, or raw survey data including bearings, curves, and rotation angles.

  • calculate acreage that includes an acreage precision such as "99.995+/- 0.005 acres."

  • enter text directly from a well formatted legal description that contains bearing/distance calls.

  • create survey files that are fully compatible with Plat Pronto Reader.

  • sketch surveys with missing information and draw the lines with missing bearings and/or distances with red dashes.

  • enter circular curves quickly and easily.

  • print plats of any size.  Plat Pronto can read the printer driver, determine the capabilities of the printer, and give you the option of printing the plat on multiple sheets.  Afterwards, these sheets may be taped or glued together to produce a large plat.  There is no theoretical limit on plat size.

  • compute closure and survey adjustment by compass rule.

  • produce boundary descriptions.

  • catalog your survey files.

  • paste bitmap pictures files in front of or behind the survey.

  • color a tract.

  • draw a contour map.

  • export to ESRI shape file, Windows Bitmap, Enhanced MetaFile (EMF), or AutoCAD DXF file formats.

  • keep a notes screen that includes objects such as pictures or spreadsheets pasted into a report side by side with the plat for easy viewing.

  • generate a complete survey report.

  • create up to 64 different plats from the same survey data.

  • enter distances in ancient units such as poles, rods, links, varas, etc. and Plat Pronto automatically converts these distances to feet or meters.

  • convert a survey to metric or input a metric survey.

  • convert geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) into State Plane or UTM coordinates.

  • copy the plat at any resolution to the clipboard and paste the image into other applications.

  • enter North or South based azimuths, rotation angles, deflection angles, or bearings.

  • plot or print to any scale.

  • change the type, color, and size of each corner label.

  • change the width, color, and style of each line.

  • import coordinate lists from text files.

Plat Pronto Professional

Plat Pronto Professional has all the features of Plat Pronto Basic, plus you can:

  • move multiple tracts around the screen with the mouse for visual positioning.

  • subdivide a tract into equal parts, a set acreage, or a fixed width.

  • draw roads, cul-de-sacs, lines, and arcs easily with the click of the mouse.

  • use COGO drawing tools to subdivide a tract, extend a line, draw a parallel line, find the point of intersection, and draw a perpendicular line.

  • calculate the theoretical position for section corners in the Public Lands Survey System.

System Requirements

Windows 95, 98, NT4, ME, 2000, or XP, 10 MB HD space, mouse, CD ROM drive.
